Removals
As lovers of trees, we always look for ways to save and support them. Sometimes, however, it is
necessary to remove trees. Whether to protect people and property, the health of surrounding
vegetation, or just because of naturally occurring death, we can remove trees safely and efficiently in any environment. No removal is too big or too small; from failed plantings to mature trees, we are your tree service.

Hazardous & Emergency Removals:
Eventually, every tree will fall, sometimes this happens at unexpected, inconvenient and occasionally dangerous times. If there is a tree on your house, blocking your driveway, or looming over other high value targets, we have the equipment and expertise to handle any removal. We are equipped to work in any condition and frequently handle storm damage projects ranging from slash removal to minor breaks to complete tree failure.

Lot-clearing: When planning for construction projects, tree retention is as important, if not
more important, than tree removals. We are fully equipped and skilled in lot-clearing and would love to consult you on which trees can be saved and how best to protect them during construction. We have experience working with builders, architects and excavators in communicating plans for tree removals and protection.

Utility line clearance: Utility line clearance is one of the most dangerous aspects of tree work.
Our climbing arborists and aerial lift operators are EHAP (Electrical Hazards Awareness Program)
Certified by TCIA (Tree Care Industry Association). When working near any energized lines we follow the strictest protocols set forth by ANSI Z133 and TCIA standards. We are committed to safety in every aspect of our work and understand the real-world hazards and implications of working near energized lines.

The danger of wildfires is unfortunately a growing and ever-present threat in the Front
Range and Rocky Mountains at large. Creating defensible space around homes, thinning live trees and clearing ground fuels can help to mitigate the risk of loss of structures during wildfires. We pride ourselves in taking a balanced approach to fire mitigation and consider many of our efforts to be forest beautification while adhering to and maintaining the standards set forth by government agencies. We work with Wildfire Partners in Boulder County to complete defensible space projects. We can help customers navigate specific requirements set forth by insurance companies, HOA’s and government entities regarding fire mitigation.

Soil Restoration
We believe that building healthy soil is one of the best ways to promote tree health. While most tree services offer soil and tree treatments that use toxic chemicals and inorganic fertilizers, we believe a natural and organic blend of nutrients provides the best support for trees and the environment. We inoculate the soil with beneficial bacteria and fungi to encourage a more
complex biome and give trees the nutrients they need to thrive. Using a more holistic approach, we
can address tree health in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner. We make our own
proprietary tea blend, using beneficial bacteria and multiple strains of both endo- and ecto-
mycorrhiza. The base of our tea blend is comprised of a mix of dechlorinated water, organic high brix molasses, earthworm castings, kelp, humic and fulvic acids, and yucca extract. Our tea is brewed for a minimum of 12 hours to increase the proliferation of beneficial bacteria creating the most active and concentrated tea possible. Call us today to set-up a free consultation with our soil restoration specialist.

Pruning
Pruning is the intersection of science, art, and preventative care. Proper pruning supports tree
health and adds to the aesthetic beauty of your property. By removing dead, broken, infected, and crossing branches, we reduce the risk of infection. Selective thinning and reductions mitigate the potential for storm damage. If this is done with an artistic eye, pruning can also give trees a more appealing appearance. We take great pride in our attention to detail, balancing aesthetics with tree health. It has been our great pleasure to work with trees as they grow and mature; we are so grateful for customers who have called us back to prune trees we have cared for in the past. Typically, healthy mature trees need to be pruned every 3-7 years; younger trees and trees that have been neglected may need pruning every 2-3 years until they are healthy and thriving. We are more than happy to provide free tree health consultations.
